Ever since we got our first look at Dylan Sprouse as “F*cking Trevor” in After We Collided, it’s all we’ve been thinking about. There’s just something about Tessa’s new flirtatious and frustrating frenemy and new co-worker that tickles our fancy. And, if you’re like us, know you’re not alone: Dylan Sprouse thinks so, too.
In a new video on the After movie’s Instagram account, the 28-year-old actor told fans why he decided to star in the After sequel and play “F*cking Trevor,” admitting that he accepted the role, simply, because “he’s incredibly sexy.”
“Well, first and foremost, he’s incredibly sexy, so that was number one off of the list,” Sprouse says, breaking into a cheeky grin. “Trevor was a character that I’ve never played before, and I generally like taking roles like that. Something that could kind of challenge me in a different way, or force me to act as something that I’m not really myself, in my daily life.”
“That was probably the biggest reason, and also because, after talking to the cast and crew, I just knew that we would have a good working environment. I’m happy to be a part of it,” he added.
In case you missed it, earlier this week, a scene featuring Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) in bed quite literally broke the internet. Between Hardin and Trevor, Tessa’s in for one delightfully messy love triangle—especially after some alleged shower sex and this awkward elevator scene.
If you can’t get enough of Dylan Sprouse, then good news! The Dismissed star is also starring in a new teen rom-com that folks think could be the next After meets The Kissing Booth.
Aaand, you can watch his latest 45-minute long Instagram live, where he answered fan questions, signed his debut graphic novel Suneater and chatted to some pals—from Kyle Massey to twin brother Cole Sprouse.
