Earlier this week, we were shooketh writing about the incredibly subtle Riverdale crossover in episode seven of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
The mysterious Ben Button, who keeps popping up in Riverdale, showed up to deliver Madam Satan pizza. We’re like 99% sure she ended up eating him instead of the pizza, but we couldn’t help but wonder, How is Ben alive???
In a recent episode of Riverdale, Ben threw himself out a hospital window because of the game Griffins and Gargoyles, killing himself.
So HOW did he show up alive, delivering pizza in Greendale months later??? Well, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa explained what his cameo means to Entertainment Tonight.
When Roberto was asked if Ben survived the fall in Riverdale, he said, “It seemed like it was pretty final, but yet there he is in Greendale. But in Greendale, everyone pops up – the dead don’t stay dead long in Greendale.”
OKAY, LET’S JUST BREAK DOWN DOWN A SEC.
There have been quite a few deaths in Riverdale – Jason Blossom, Ms. Grundy, Penelope & Clifford Blossom, Dilton Doiley, Chic Cooper… JUST to name a few.
