After MONTHS of speculation, Riverdale has finally given fans some answers. But it’s not the answer they wanted.

Jughead (Cole Sprouse) is dead.
At the end of the episode, we see Archie (KJ Apa) checking Jughead’s pulse… only to find that he doesn’t have one.
The last we see of Betty in this episode is her standing over Jughead’s dead body with a rock in her hand.
UMM, we are not okay. Especially because we’re pretty certain that this means Cole is leaving Riverdale.
As we know, nothing is ever certain on this show. So maybe Jughead somehow ISN’T dead and won’t be leaving the show, but we have a nagging feeling that this might be the end for Juggy.
Cole is currently working on a new project at the moment too, which could be further proof that he’s moving on.
The star is heading back to the movie world, with the film ‘Undercover‘.
Deadline reports that it will be a “music-driven family comedy” about a “down-on-his-luck-rocker-turned-father” played by Zachary Levi.
To make cash, he has to secretly join a wedding cover band which is led by a guy named Ben, which will be by Cole.
Cole posted a pic on his Instagram promoting the movie.
“Very excited to announce a project that I’m attached to start filming this April,” the caption read. “One bonus being I get to work alongside big sexy frontman @zacharylevi in a variety of catsuits and stunt harnesses.”
