Yep, you’ve heard correctly… The most iconic ’90s films EVER, Clueless, is being remade, as Deadline reports.
The project is currently in its early stages, with the only info we have rn is that Girls’ Trip writer Tracy Oliver and Glow’s Marquita Robinson are on board.

However, it’s a lot to live up to. The original screenplay written by Amy Heckerling was loosely based on Jane Austen’s Emma, so it’ll be interesting to see how close to the script they will keep it.
It’s a completely different world now to the world OG Cher lived in, with Uber’s being a thing and the wonderful world of social media… we’re sure millennial Cher will be totally fine.
Tracy tweeted on Thursday, “Crazy excited to be producing a new take on one of my favorite movies of all time, #Clueless, with the hilarious and super talented @MarqRobinson writing it!!! As. If.”
Marquita was quick to announce her love for the movie too. “Omg can u believe these idiots are remaking Clueless, @TracyYOliver?”
Of course as soon as the news broke, Twitter had thoughts.
