Chris Hemsworth has revealed the truth about his baby brother Liam Hemsworth‘s “marriage” to Miley Cyrus in a new interview with SiriusXM.
The actor stopped by to speak about his latest project, the war movie 12 Strong, when the interview took a little detour.
The radio host excitedly pestered Chris about the Miley and Liam’s confusing marital status – performing God’s work, really – saying to the actor “I think Miley is a member of the household, I don’t know if she’s officially married to Liam yet or not?”
“No,” laughed Chris, “they’re not officially married yet.”
So that should put a stop to the bogus “close source” reports that they “tied the knot in secret” during their current stay in Byron Bay. However, Chris also acknowledged that Miley is 100% a part of the Hemsworth family.
“I always just expect her to put on a show, belt a few songs out. But she never does,” he jokingly said. “I’m insisting consistently, ‘When is the performance coming?’ But nah, she’s just a lot of fun.”
When asked if he had any advice on marriage for Liam, Chris said: “”No…I’ve asked my mum that question about marriage and kids and [she’s] said, ‘Look, we’ve been doing it for a long, long time that if there was an answer to it, and a way to do it properly, we’d have it figured out. There would be one book that says ‘here’s how to do it.’ No, he doesn’t need my advice.”
