Adorable bbs Charli XCX and Troye Sivan have released the music video for their single ‘1999’ and it’s filled with every ‘90s reference you can imagine.
Charli and Troye play everyone from Steve Jobs to the Backstreet Boys and our personal favourite is the pair portraying Rose and Jack from the movie Titanic.
While Troye and Charlie were literal babies in 1999 – Troye was four and Charli was seven years old – they have managed to capture all the great things about the decade in this tasty film clip.
There’s also references to The Matrix, Nokia mobile phones, The Sims and the Spice Girls. Basically, if you want to feel hella nostalgic for the ‘90s, then you must watch this.
While the song is a bop, it’s the music video that keeps on giving.
