Fans of The Bachelor went into meltdown last night when a very compelling theory surfaced suggesting that the official Network 10 “final three” promotional picture contained the mother of all spoilers— that Chelsie McLeod wins.
In case you’re wondering what on earth I’m talking about, let me fill you in. Basically, there’s a photo collage doing the rounds on social media which shows a mashup of “final three” promo pics from previous seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. In every single photo, the contestant who eventually ends up winning is always (and we mean ALWAYS) standing in the middle.

As you can see below, winners Lee Elliott (from Georgia Love’s season), Sasha Mielczarek (from Sam Frost’s season), Stu Laundy (from Sophie Monk’s season) and Alex Nation (from Richie Strahan’s season) are all standing in the middle of these snaps.
If this theory is indeed correct, judging by this year’s photograph, Chelsie will be the final woman standing on Thursday evening.

Since clued up viewers cleverly connected the dots, the Network has been doing everything in their power to debunk the well-oiled theory. They even went as far as releasing an updated “final three” photo in which Chelsie is no longer standing in the middle, rather on the right-hand side!

I mean, props for going to all that effort, but we’re not really buying it!
Although multiple insiders have claimed Chelsie does, in fact, score the final rose, it looks like she may not have found the man of her dreams…
A well-placed source recently claimed that the usually shy and quiet contestant isn’t playing by Network 10’s rules and is reportedly refusing to discuss her romance with Matt, or do any press with the hunky astrophysicist.
“Chelsie has been really down since the show wrapped and now she has said she isn’t going to do any interviews,” the source told New Idea. “She doesn’t want anything to do with the franchise anymore, despite being under contractual obligations for months to come.”
According to the spy, Matt and Chelsie have been butting heads, with rumours swirling that their relationship could already be over.
“Since the finale, everyone has heard there’s been problem after problem – they were just not seeing eye-to-eye on anything and didn’t have any chemistry. Once the cameras stopped rolling, the sparkle just wore off,” the insider revealed.

With photos recently emerging showing this year’s villain Abbie Chatfield jetting off to Matt’s home town after filming wrapped, word has spread that her visit could have something to do with Chelsie’s unexpected outburst.
Only time will tell!
