With the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle happening in just four months’ time, everyone is itching to know who has been lucky enough to receive the all-exclusive invite to the Palace.
With Harry’s popularity and Meghan’s Hollywood ties, there is no doubt that quite a few familiar faces will be present at one of the most anticipated weddings of 2018.
While no official list of A-lists has been confirmed, high bets are placed for these celebs to celebrate with royalty in the coming May month.
1. & 2. Barack and Michelle Obama
It’s no secret that the Prince and the former POTUS have had a bromance for a while, so it’s quite likely that Barack and Michelle will snag a couple of spots on the invitation list.
3. & 4. Victoria and David Beckham
The other British royal family received an invite to William and Kate’s wedding, so it’s likely they’ll make a re-appearance this wedding round. David has an established relationship with both Prince brothers from philanthropy and football organisations… and, well, it’s only appropriate that Posh meets the Poshest of all at this royal event.
5. Serena Williams
The question isn’t whether Serena will be attending. It’s whether she’ll be bridesmaid or not. One of Meghan’s closest gal pals and rumoured to be the match-maker that set the wedded couple together, the tennis pro will undoubtedly be donning a dress very different to her usual court attire.
6. Rowan Atkinson
That’s right – Mr. Bean. Who said these monarchial events were so prudent? Atkinson is known to have quite close relations with Prince Charles and will likely pull on a tux and some more sensible facial reactions for the upcoming wedding.
7. Rihanna
Harry and Rihanna joined forces in her native country of Barbados, celebrating 50 years of independence. This time, though, Queen RiRi will be the one taking a bow to her Royal Highness if she attends the May nuptials.
8. Priyanka Chopra
Meghan and the Quantico star met a couple of years ago and have hit the ground running as friends since then. Chopra is most commonly known for her vocal attitude toward supporting Meghan after Vanity Fair focused on the bride-to-be’s royal romance all whilst stomping down on any of her achievements. How’s that for friendship goals?
