But if new reports are true, we might soon be living in a world where Bughead and/or Varchie are no longer a thing and we are high-key freaking out.
Riverdale‘s showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told TV Line that the search for the man who shot Fred “leads into darker chapters of Riverdale’s history… and puts all of our characters on the defensive.”
As a result, Bughead and Varchie are in for a world of trouble.
“It’s almost like every force in the universe is out to pry Bughead apart,” he said.
“There are going to be problems coming in multiple different directions, besieging both of our couples.”
Okay, time to panic!!!
