Bryan Cranston aka Walter White has just confirmed that the show’s creator Vince Gilligan is currently developing a feature-length version of Breaking Bad.

The actor opened up about the possibility of reprising his role as the terminally ill chemistry teacher, who turns to a life crime, during an interview on The Dan Patrick Show. “There appears to be a movie version of Breaking Bad,” Cranston shared, but he added, “I honestly have not even read the script.”
Spoiler alert: the last we saw of our favourite nice guy gone bad he was bleeding out on the floor of a meth lab, but Walter – we mean Bryan – hasn’t ruled out a comeback.
“If I put on his clothes, and shaved my head, and put those glasses on, and maybe the Heisenberg hat, I think those talismans could send me back there quickly,” Cranston, who won a Golden Globe for the role said. “Almost like the evocative song sends you back into your memories.”

Nothing is set in stone yet, “if Vince Gilligan asked me to do it, sure,” he added. Speaking of the genius behind series’ epic six seasons run, Gilligan has only dropped a few cryptic hints about the film.
Here’s what we do know: the 120-minute feature is starting production this month and will explore “the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom,” according to Variety.
There’s a strong internet rumour that the film which, currently has the working title Greenbriar is about Aaron Paul’s character Jesse Pinkman. Bryan seemed to agree that a sequel was likely. “There’s a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to some of these storylines that were left open.
“And this idea, from what I’m told, gets into those… At least a couple of the characters who were not completed, as far as their journey. How about that?”
