30-year-old Mat Garrick from Broken Hill, NSW, is the first person confirmed to enter the 2020 Big Brother house in 5 weeks.

Mat, the ‘Outback Tradie’, aka Mining Electrician, “says he’ll bring humour, wit, smarts, ADHD energy, and a ‘beautiful big head’ into the Big Brother house,” reads the promo.

“Mat hopes he’s a likable guy but he’s got to keep his wits about him – it’s a game and if someone comes after him, it’s kill or be killed in Mat’s book.”

It’s not the first time Mat has appeared on our screens either. The self-proclaimed ‘Don Bradman’ has appeared on ABC’s Think Tank with Paul McDermot.

Zoe describes herself as: “Mother. Wife. Writer. Teacher. Funny. Honest. Energetic. Prankster. Subtle as a brick in the face.”

Ben previously named AFL sports-star and now influencer Daniel Gorringe and Ian W from Western Australia as two more housemates.

Ian, known for his hat, has been dubbed as a someone to watch out for.

“That signature hat that you can see him wearing on the show is a bit of a talking point, a way of him getting to know people. Apparently he is a very good conversationalist and from all that I’ve heard apparently he does very well on this upcoming series,” says Ben.

As for Daniel, we’re just here for the muscles.
