Bad news for Stranger Things fans as it has just been announced that Barb will defs not appear in the upcoming second season.
The popular series’ producers maintain that the character will stay “profoundly deceased” for the foreseeable future.
During a Facebook Live chat with The Hollywood Reporter, director/producer Shaun Levy discussed the matter.
“We are going to do things that fans will be disappointed in but I think they will be more satisfied by,” he said.
“I’ll give one example that I’ve been asked about a hundred times which is people still think Barb’s alive. Because you think you want that but you wouldn’t really want that.”

Meanwhile, season two is set to return to screens this Halloween.
