She won fans over with her down-to-earth personality and quick wit, but behind the scenes on Bachelor in Paradise, Tara Pavlovic shocked everyone with her dramatic behaviour.
Labelled their ‘most difficult’ contestant, producers endured daily temper tantrums, diva demands and downright refusal to accept dates – because she already had a boyfriend!
Initially offering her the highly coveted role of Bachelorette, Tara left everyone shocked when she turned it down flat – explaining that it wasn’t good for her ‘brand’.
‘They couldn’t believe it,’ the insider spills. ‘After the show, she got herself a manager who told her she had a big future ahead and she would probably land a TV presenting role. So they didn’t think her being Bachelorette would be a good look, and because she was seeing someone and they were getting serious, she was happy to turn it down.’
After dating a mystery man for a few months, Tara was happy with her love life, and while her ultimate goal was a career in front of the camera, things were getting serious with her new love.
But, still desperate to leverage her growing social- media following, Warner Bros again approached
Tara – this time asking her to appear on their newest show Bachelor In Paradise, with an offer too good to refuse.
Finally agreeing to sign up, Tara told her boyfriend and friends she would be treating it like ‘an all-expenses holiday with her mates and nothing more’.
‘Tara refused to say she was looking for love, because she wasn’t and she told everyone else she was just there to work on her tan.’
