Despite currently being embarrassingly engrossed in Married At First Sight, we can’t help but count down the days until Bachelor In Paradise begins.
With a cast containing some of our favourite Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants of all time – hi Tara and Apollo, alongside villains (Keira), actual losers (Blake), and oddballs (sorry, Jarrod), as well as the promise of a proposal, it’s safe to say: we’re going to be hooked.
Below, meet the confirmed cast of Bachelor In Paradise 2018. But don’t be surprised if there are a few curveballs, in the form of intruders, to come.
Tara Pavlovic
Age: 28 years old
Previous season: Competed on the fifth Season of the Bachelor with Matthew Johnson (Matty J)
About: Pavlovic worked as a nanny prior to appearing on The Bachelor. She became popular among fans of the show for her humorous banter with Johnson.
Laurina Fleure
Age: 34 years old
Previous season: Competed on the second season of The Bachelor with Blake Garvery
About: Laurina worked as a waitress in a strip club when she was twenty years old. She then modelled for 10 years while living in Hong Kong, Athens, Greece and Istanbul. She has also opened an online women’s clothing and boutique website called Pialia Boutique’.
Florence Moerenhout
Age: 29 years old
Previous season: Competed on the fifth Season of The Bachelor with Matthew Johnson (Matty J)
About: The blonde beauty is originally from the Netherlands however she relocated to Melbourne to further her modelling career in 2016.
Jarrod Woodgate
Age: 32 years old
Previous season: Competed on the third season of The Bachelorette with Sophie Monk.
About: Jarrod quickly became a frontrunner after he tried to grow pansies with Sophie in attempt to “grow love” together, however, he was the runner-up to Stu Laundy and sadly didn’t find his happily ever after with Soph.
Ali Oetjen
Age: 31 years old
Previous season: Competed on the first season of The Bachelor with Tim Robards.
About: Oetjen was the vivacious blonde who wore her heart on her sleeve only to have it broken by Tim Robards. She was the second runner-up.
Keira Maguire
Age: 31 years old
Previous season: Competed on the fourth season of The Bachelor with Richie Strahan.
About: Maguire was labelled the ‘Villain’ whilst vying for Richie’s affections. She quickly became the Bachelorette that everyone loved to hate. Before fame, she worked as an account manager and featured on last year’s season of I’m a Celebrity..Get Me Outta Here!
Lisa Hyde
Age: 27 years old
Previous season: Competed on the second season of The Bachelor with Blake Garvey.
About: After her heartbreak with Blake on The Bachelor, Lisa was in a relationship with Tyson Mayr for more than two years. She has also appeared on I’m a Celebrity..Get Me Outta Here! in 2015.
Michael Turnbull
Age: 36 years old
Previous season: Competed on the first season of The Bachelorette with Sam Frost.
About: Turnbull is an Australian professional footballer. The ex-Brisbane soccer player was the runner-up for Sam Frost’s heart.
Apollo Jackson
Age: 26 years old
Previous season: Competed on the third season of The Bachelorette with Sophie Monk
About: Jackson is a professional magician who quickly melted the hearts of Sophie Monk and the rest of Australia. He is also a music artist and a stunt actor.
Davey Lloyd
Age: 28 years old
Previous season: Competed on the first season of The Bachelorette with Sam Frost
About: Davey was labelled as a “party boy” and a “larrikin ladies’ man” throughout his time on The Bachelorette, failing to impress Sam. Before his time on the show, Lloyd worked as a carpenter in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Sam Cochrane
Age: 31 years old
Previous season: Competed on the third season of The Bachelorette with Sophie Monk.
About: Cochrane was the first ever to score a ‘double delight’ rose on the Bachelorette. He emerged as a fast favourite on the Bachelorette with his humorous behaviour and his controversial man bun but swiftly went downhill when he kept offering to teach Sophie how to make music (?) and wouldn’t stop saying ‘double delight.’
Luke McLeod
Age: 33 years old
Previous Season: Competed on the third season of The Bachelorette with Sophie Monk.
About: Before appearing on The Bachelorette, Luke worked as a paid actor and even appeared in an Aeroplane Jelly commercial.
Jake Ellis
Age: 32 years old
Previous Season: Competed on the second season of The Bachelorette with Georgia Love.
About: Jake was one of the good guys on the second season of The Bachelorette with a funny, gracious and friendly demeanour. However, his instant connection with Georgia wasn’t enough to steal her heart.
Leah Costa
Age: 25 years old
Previous Season: Competed on the fifth season of The Bachelor with Matthew Johnson.
About: Costa was portrayed as the ‘villain’ on the latest season of The Bachelor and failed to win Matty J’s heart. On another note, she is an avid traveller who has visited 32 countries, including Morocco, Germany, Switzerland and Thailand.
Megan Marx
Age: 28 years old
Previous Season: Competed on the fourth season of The Bachelor with Richie Strahan.
About: Former Bachelor contestant, Marx refused to accept a rose from Richie leaving him genuinely crushed during the rose ceremony. She was married at 18 and divorced by 22. Since filming the reality show, she formed a deep connection with fellow contestant Tiffany Scanlon. The duo became close friends and even formed a relationship with each other.
Nina Rolleston
Age: 30 years old
Previous season: Competed on the third season of The Bachelor with Sam Wood.
About: Rolleston is a wedding planner in Brisbane who broke a Guinness World Record after locking lips with bachelor, Sam Woods, for four minutes and 10 seconds.
Blake Colman
Age: 30 years old
Previous Season: Competed on the third season of The Bachelorette with Sophie Monk.
About: Coleman was the smooth-talking villain who billed himself as investor and entrepreneur. However, his casting on Bachelor In Paradise has caused some controversy after former Bachelor contestant, Jen Hawke, accused him of domestic abuse and revenge porn.
