Turns out those reports on Ari appearing in the upcoming Netflix film The Prom were false.

The reason why the “7 rings” singer won’t be able to be apart of the flick is because of scheduling conflicts with her massive ‘Sweetener World Tour’ according to Billboard.

She only recently added a whole bunch of dates for the whirlwind tour too!

The 2020 musical film stars Hollywood’s biggest names including Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, The Late Late Show’s James Corden, and Awkwafina.

The upcoming Netflix flick is based on American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy’s original Tony-nominated Broadway musical.

Ari was originally reported to play protagonist Emma’s closeted girlfriend, named Alyssa.

One film she will be super involved with though is the upcoming Elizabeth Banks directed reboot of Charlie’s Angels!

The pop superstar recently revealed she will be co-executive producing the film’s soundtrack, in which she shares a MASSIVE collaboration with fellow pop queens Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey.

Ariana wrote in a post on Instagram: ‘👼🏼 @charliesangelsin theaters this november …. co executive producing this soundtrack with @awsuki @ilya_music & #mxm has been the coolest f*****g thing in the world. beyond grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait for everyone to hear the music and see this phenomenal film. november. 🌫✨’
