Ariana Grande’s brother Frankie has had to backtrack hard after starting a teensy tiny rumour his sister was dating Mikey Foster.
Last night, Frankie was chatting at an event when he let slip that Ariana and Mikey went on a ‘double-date’ with him and his boyfriend, Hale Leon – understandably news outlets took this as an actual date, as opposed to what now seems to be just a friendly hang out.
News outlets galore ran with the wild story that our pop Queen Ari was now dating singer Mikey Foster, but the new romance was over before we could even think up a decent ship name (Mari?).

Speaking with US Weekly at the Los Angeles event last night, Frankie just kept pouring fuel on that fire when he gushed over Mikey: “I love Mikey.
“I think he’s a really sweet guy. So talented. So kind and so caring.”
Alas, ‘Mari’ (we’re running with it now) was not to be.
“My sister is not in a relationship. Everyone relax. She is very much single,” Frankie tweeted yesterday.
Even though pot-stirrer Frankie has straight-up denied Ari is in a relationship, rumours have run wild for a while that these two are ‘a thing’.
Posting a cute AF message to Ariana on Insta, Mikey called his ‘friend’, “incredible”: “Ur one of the most incredible people the universe has to offer.
“I hope this year offers u nothing but the joy u deserve. Love u. happy birthday 💙.”
Hmmm, only time will tell!
