Ariana Grande has been snubbed by the AMAs

Nominations for the 2018 American Music Awards have been announced, and one VERY prominent artist that is noticeably missing is Ariana Grande.

While she is nominated for Favourite Social Artist, she’s not up for any of the major categories, including Artist of the Year, Favourite Music Video, or Favourite Female Artist – Pop/Rock.

Turns out that Sweetener, which went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, was released on the 17th of August, one week after the AMA’s August 9 deadline for submission.

Rude much? It doesn’t explain why her two hit singles “No Tears Left To Cry” or “God Is A Woman” weren’t nominated though…
