Recently, queen Ange has spent most of her time behind the camera, directing movies, but now, she’s announced her return to acting.
Speaking at the Telluride Film Festival via Deadline, she has confirmed that she will be returning for Maleficent 2.
“We have been working on the script and this is going to be a really strong sequel,” she said.
“When I feel it’s time for me to go back to work, I’ll be able to go back to work,” she said. “I’ve been needed at home. I hope [to work again] in the months to come,” she said at the festival.
Angies most recent movie to direct was a Netflix film, First They Killed My Father, which hits the streaming service on September 15.
