We may have had to wait a really long time for 5 Seconds of Summer to release new music, but all is forgiven.
The band is back in full force, and god DAMN they are releasing some certified bangers. Coming back into the scene with “Want You Back”, we knew we were going to be in for a treat with this new album and new sound… but nothing. I repeat, nothing prepared us for their new song (which also happens to be their album title) “Youngblood”.
The boys have sung the song live recently while touring the world, but they have just released a studio version that genuinely makes us want to rip our clothes off.
The song, laced with the most gloriously sexy drum beat that Ashton has put together, is probably our favourite 5SOS song of all time… and that’s really saying something.
Luke’s melted chocolate voice is what makes song something to write home about (although, our mumma’s would be appalled to hear what we’d have to say about this one), and the fans agree. This song has bad intentions and we love it.
So there you go 5SOS. We’ve always been violently attracted to you, but now you’ve got the power to flick that dangerous switch in anyone when you play this song.
