We consider ourselves pretty damn lucky that we’ve been able to see 5 Seconds of Summer perform live a few times now… but we’re gonna say it… nothing comes close to how they performed at Nova’s Red Room last week.
Setting up shop at Sydney’s Metro Theatre, our home-grown boys came back to give their dedicated fans an intimate performance that they’ll never forget.
Taking to the stage to perform new songs off their upcoming album Youngblood, our ears were treated with “Want You Back”, “Valentine” and “Youngblood” – of course.
Yes – hearing Ashton bang those drums to the beat of YB was electrifying, in case you were wondering.
Perhaps maybe the best part was Luke joking with the crowd about knowing all the words to “Valentine” which has yet to be released (but was leaked online).
“I don’t suppose anyone listened to the leaked version? No? No,” he joked
That’s what happens when you have dedicated fans!
Youngblood will be released on June 22, and the boys will be back in Australia for their Meet You There world tour in August!!!!
