We absolutely cannot wait for the second season of 13 Reasons Why to come back to Netflix… but what are we to expect after such a mind-blowing season?
Well, so far we know only a few deets… like how it will remain in a narrative format (with somebody new telling the story), and how Hannah Baker will return.

Dylan Minnette aka our Clay Jensen, opened up to Entertainment Tonight about season two’s main theme, and it sounds amaze.
“This season particularly is a lot about recovery,” he explained, adding, “It’s naturally going to progressively get to a more emotional place, due to the nature of the story we’re telling. I’m sure we’re all heading in some dark directions again. I think anybody would be surprised if we weren’t.”
The idea of ‘recovery’ makes sense, but it will change a lot of the show’s dynamic. Season one was heavily focused on very controversial issues, like bullying, sexual abuse and suicide.
It caused a lot of chaos online, so it seems like the new season can be more positive in its message.
We’ve seen characters spiralled out of control, but in the end, we saw Clay coming to terms with everything that had happened, and attempting to move on.
But Clay isn’t the only one who needs to recover. There’s Jessica, who was assaulted, Alex, who was shot, Tyler, who had the agenda to hurt his peers, Hannah’s parents, who have to come to terms with their daughter’s death… plus all the other characters that were in the line of fire.
We’re hoping the upcoming season will create a space that gives viewers who could be in similar situations the held and guidance they need.
