However, mistakes are still made, and BOY did Emily Ratajkowski make a huge one.
While posting her announcement for working with the haircare brand Kerastase Paris, Emily decided this caption would be great:
"Hair is a fundamental part of beauty, femininity, and identity. So excited to announce that I am the new face of @kerastase_official!"
*Face-palm*
The caption you see there is her new and improved one after the backlash hit.
Plenty of women shave their hair by choice. Does that mean they lack beauty, femininity and identity? Absolutely not! Especially women who endure cancer treatments, alopecia, and any other condition that may affect hair growth.
People lost it.
“Are we just gonna pretend the original caption never happened? Why not accept your mistake and apologise? Terrible really..,” one Instagram user wrote.
Another said, "People who make mistakes & own up to them rather than delete them & pretend they were never there are what this world needs more of. Smh."
People are demanding Emily to own up to her mistake and apologise, however she has yet to respond.
