Business of Fashion reported that Lisa Marie sent a cease and desist letter to Emily, after she launched her new swim brand, Inamorata.
Lisa Marie focuses on two designs in particular, one off the shoulder bikini and another strapless one piece with knotted details. She claims that these two look incredibly similar to her Leandra and Triple Poppy styles, which came out three years ago.
“Because of technology, we are really entering an era of accountability in so many ways,” said Lisa, who noticed Emily's plagiarism on Instagram.
The brand gave Inamorata until the 22nd of November to respond.
