The twins, and fans were equally as excited for the day, each posting on Twitter.
"LONDON! MEET UP AT HYDE PARK TOMORROW AT 12:30 PM! I wanna see you there!!" Grayson wrote on Twitter the day before.
"If you are going to the meet up today PLEASE stay calm. I want this to work so we can all have a good time! If Ethan and I can’t take a picture with every person individually we at least want to see you all. But stay calm! No pushing others please. Spread the word " he continued to write the next day.
However they seemed to forget one very important detail about November 12 - it was Remembrance Sunday, a day in which events are held throughout London to commemorate the lives lost in war.
"My great grandfather was killed during ww2, and I know 100% that I wouldn't want this special time to be ruined by a bunch of teenagers screaming and yelling, it's disrespectful! Please I am asking you to have some respect and put yourselves in their shoes! #DolansHydePark" one fan wrote on Twitter, as screaming girls started to flood the park where families were paying their respects.
After the Dolan's realised that it was such a special day, they were forced to cancel the meet and were apologetic online.
"Guys I had no idea there was a memorial in Hyde park today for remembrance day. It’s more important to pay respect than anything right now. I feel horrible," Grayson tweeted.
"I don’t think the meet up is going to work today guys."
"Ethan and I are really sorry. We can’t go to Hyde park but we’re trying to figure something out. We want to see you guys but we don’t want to be disrespectful and most of all we want everyone to be safe."
"We really want to meet you all but i would feel so awful and selfish if someone were to get hurt. Everyone’s safety is most important," Ethan added.
"It’s also important to show respect today on Remembrance Day.We’re sorry we can’t do the meet up. London we love you.We will make it up to u."
However, despite the twins cancelling, HERDS of fans had already shown up to the park.
There is one video showing fans running and screaming through the park, jumping over fences and being particularly crazy as they rushed to the hotel where the twins were reportedly staying at. Police then had to arrive at the scene.
People were even getting hurt.
Neither Ethan or Grayson have responded to the absolute CHAOS that went down after their cancellation, however people on social media were quick to call out the disrespectful fans.
"These girls were actually so disrespectful, shouting out 'Dolan Twins' while cars with soldiers were driving past. When people started running I got pushed into a fence, now have bruises an nearly died from a severe asthma attack because of this. Be respectful!" one fan wrote.
WHAT. A. MESS!
