We've had blackhead removals, earwax cleaning, chiropractic back adjustments, and now we're introducing a brand new player in the game. Dandruff scraping!
Everyone's had a bout of dandruff at least once, and for those of you who can manage keeping yourselves from scratching and watching those flakes fall, we salute you.
Now you can now see the extreme and satisfying act of combing out the little bits of scalp plastered all over YouTube.
These videos show us all the goods close up, and I'm talking big fellas, like flakes the size of oats.
Dermatologists have said that this level of dandruff is caused by real medical conditions, like seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema, so it's not just your regular old oily or dry skin.
In the videos, dermatologists are seen using a range of funky tools to scrape the flakes, so you get a real nice look at them getting picked off.
If you're into ASMR or hearing satisfying sounds (chiropractic joint cracking videos are my entire life), you'll be able to hear the skin as it's being pulled from the skin for an extra level of satisfaction.
SATISFYING AF, AMIRITE?
A word of caution though: seeing those videos will automatically make you want to sit there and itch too!!
If you're having trouble with dandruff yourself, it's best to visit a doctor who can prescribe you a special shampoo suited exactly to your scalp's needs.
Sometimes the shampoo you're using maybe better fitted to a different cause of dandruff than you have yourself, so if those scratches are driving you mad, make sure to tame them with the right weapon!
Here's one more for you.
Out gross-vid treat to you.
