The movie we feel like we have been waiting for our entire lives is finally here, and we're so damn excited.
Love, Simon is based on the young adult novel by Becky Albertalli, which was originally titled Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda.
In it, we will follow 17-year-old high school student Simon, played by Nick Robinson. Simon fall in love with his secret pen-pal, who is the only person who knows that he is gay.
Oh, and did we mention that our one and only Katherine Langford will be in it too? Not only that, but Miles Heizer too! 13 Reasons Why reunion much?
Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel will play Simon's parents, so as you can see, the casting is LEGIT.
There isn't a lot of LGBTQI+ friendly stories shown in mainstream media, so we're absolutely ecstatic that we are finally seeing them get the representation that they deserve. Especially with such a younger, teenage perspective.
Author Becky has even taken to Twitter to let everyone know how epic the movie really is.
