In case you forgot, Riverdale is very soon blessing us all with a musical episode.
Riverdale is actually getting inspo from the Carrie, yes. The movie where Carrie the bullied teenager discovers her telekinesis powers and gets revenge on everyone while covered in blood.
And we know what you're all thinking: "YES WE'RE GONNA SEE COLE SPROUSE SING."
Well, unfortunately not.
According to TV Line, executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa spoke about Cole’s unwillingness to sing at a press conference.
“Cole and I talked about it a while ago, and I said, ‘How do you feel about musicals?’” Roberto said. “At that time, we were going to do Little Shop of Horrors. And he basically said, ‘Listen, I never sang for Disney. It would take a lot.'”
Apparently he hates singing and musical numbers so much that he wouldn't join in singing with his co-stars at a season one wrap party.
Cole is so Jughead.
“So literally every cast member sang but Cole,” Roberto said. “Every parent, every kid, every crew member sang . . . except for Cole. So it was like, ‘Okay, got it.'”
