The second season of Riverdale will follow the whole ~crime~ and ~detective~ vibes that we were presented with in season 1, Cole Sprouse has confirmed.
With Fred Andrews being shot, and a whole lot of shifty bizz going down, we can already see that happening, but Cole has delved deeper while talking in a Reddit AMA.
Jughead will team up with Archie to take "more of a True Detective season one role" he began.
He has described Jughead as the "moral center" of the town, and hints that he will go through a few changes too.
"He takes a strong neutral-good stance, and is now described as the soul of Riverdale," he said. "He favours and admires anyone who has a history of making the right decisions in compromising scenarios, and favours his childhood friends.
"Jughead's objection with interfering as part of season one is the thing that will change the most. His fear of interaction is now something he has to face firsthand, and with it, his eventual understanding that his actions will always piss one person off."
"His don't care attitude which we get more in season two is very 'digest Jughead'."
My lord we cannot wait.
