It’s been a few days since news broke that the hit Netflix teen drama about Sabrina the Teenage Witch, her witch coven and friends was over, and we’re still not okay. Especially after showrunner Roberto Aguirre Sacasa mentioned yesterday that the fifth season would’ve finally featured the long awaited crossover with Riverdale.
And, we aren’t the only ones heartbroken by the news. Over the last few days, the cast of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina have been sharing some of their favourite behind the scenes photos of their cast mates and tv show coven.
First, the show’s star, Kiernan Shipka, reminded us all that “Coven 4ever,” before sharing some pics with Gavin Leatherwood, Lucy Davis, Jaz Sinclair, Lach R. Watson and others.
“Since the news that Sabrina isn’t coming back I’ve been looking through all my pictures from the last two years - we had some of the best times,” said Ross Lynch. “I’m so happy I got to be a part of this show and a part of this group. It was very special.”
“There are so many great moments and pictures and stories that i could tell, but for now I’ll leave you with these pics.”
Gavin Leatherwood then wrote posts paying tribute to Lynch, Shipka and Sinclair, giving us all some adorable moments between them and reigniting all of our favourite Leatherwood real life ships with his co-stars.
“Ross and I didn’t start hanging out until the second half of our first season and then a lovely Bromance blossomed. We first met in the hair and make up trailer and there was this instant kinship. Pretty sure he was flirting with me with those big puppy dog eyes. It worked 🤷🏻♂️ love you dude #narvey #ravin.”
Shipka’s on screen cousin Chance Perdomo and on screen auntie Lucy Davis shared some of their favourite moments with her, too. And, not gonna lie, we are extremely here for this Sabrina and Ambrose friendship.
RIP to The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. A true icon of a TV show. Here’s hoping we see Sabrina and the gang show up in Riverdale sometime.
