“We take these allegations very seriously,” a spokesperson for the network told BuzzFeed News.
“We’re working with Critical Content, our third party production company, to conduct a thorough investigation and we’ve put a pause on shooting until the investigation is completed.”
The news came out after Ayissha Morgan, a girl who was in season 4 of the show, uploaded a series of videos on YouTube claiming she was sexually harassed throughout filming of the episode.
While she didn't name Nev specifically, she gave him the name "Jack", aka, the "main person" on the show.
She starts off by describing how 'Jack' would continuously flirt with her and compliment her. Then he went on to ask if she was actually a lesbian, or just bisexual.
"I don't think you're a lesbian. You need to let me take you out," she says the man told her.
She also said he asked her if she has ever had sex with a guy. "He was like, 'Well, I think you should try it. I have a big d*ck. I would tear your a** up,'" she said.
"I'm shook because the way you portray yourself on TV is totally different from the jackass you are in person," she said. "He was just pushing and pushing and pushing."
She then went on to explain how he invited her to hang out at their hotel, and she said she only went because she thought it was the whole crew hanging out. After he asked her to "cuddle" she declined.
The rest of the explanation is pretty hard to watch as she becomes very emotional recounting the events.
Catfish premiered on MTV in 2012, and Nev shot to fame because of it. Right now, the show is going onto its 8th season.
