The comment went unnoticed by Tara, who did not reply to the newest member of Bachelor Nation. In a bid to save himself, Carlin does not currently follow Tara on Instagram, but it didn't take much for fans to find this comment.
Hilariously, the comment directly above Carlin's happens to be from Angie Kent and her Gogglebox partner Yvie Jones' joint Instagram account.
"We bloody think you're swell lady! ❤️🙌" they wrote.
Well, that's ironically awkward.
Carlin's attempts to win his first Bachelor star over came shortly after his separation from ex-wife Taran Higgins, as he became newly single during that time.
However, Tara's affections lay with BIP co-star Sam Cochrane, who seemed to have a fairytale romance on the Bachelor spin-off show, when they got engaged during the finale.
However, things between the pair turned sour shortly after returning home from Fiji, resulting in a messy split.
Two short months following her split, Tara confirmed new relationship with Gold Coast plumber Nick Shepherdson. The couple are currently engaged.
"Yes to a lifetime of love, laughs and happiness with you @shepaa. I love you SO bloody much. I can't wait to marry you,” Tara captioned her photo after Nick proposed to her in September, 2018.
As for Carlin, we don't think Angie will be too impressed with his thirsty comment towards Tara.
She was understandably ropable when she discovered that Ryan Anderson, second runner-up, previously applied for Ali Oetjen's season of The Bachelorette after saying he would never apply for that kind of show, unless it was for Angie.
Carlin, who was honest since the beginning of the show about being married, had his own hiccups with Angie when his own brother admitted he applied for the show to boost his acting career.
Does it all tie in with wanting to start a romance with Tara Pavlovic, who could have also boosted his acting career?
