Aussie TV personality and former Channel V host Carissa Walford has come under fire after using a racial slur on Instagram from 2014.
The phrase she used was from Kanye Westand Jay-Z's hit song "Ni**as In Paris", where she used the hashtag ‘#guccimyn*gga’.
A reader claimed to Pedestrian.tv that Carissa blocked her on Instagram at the time, when she approached her about the issue. Now, four years later, she used her husband’s Instagram to check “if she had a change of heart”.
“I was surprised that she is so ignorant to have had it still on display on her profile this whole time and no one has pulled her up on it.”
The reader believes the word is “completely offensive” and “disrespectful” to her ancestry.
