A statement released by Big Hit Entertainment said that the break would give them to "a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly."
The hiatus has lasted just over a month (although, it's felt like at eternity TBH) but according to Soompi, a source from the management has said "BTS has ended their period of rest and will be flying out today for a scheduled activity.”
It looks like the band will resume their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour, heading to Saudi Arabia to perform on October 11.
In the meantime, the boys have been spotted at Incheon International Airport in South Korea holding selfie cameras.
It's set rumours swirling that they've been filming Bon Voyage, a video project that will see the boys go on vacay to a secret location and record their experience.
Unfortunately, this latest hiatus might not be the last one this year for one BTS member.
It looks like Jin, the oldest member of the group, will probably have to enlist in the South Korean military sometime in 2020.
In South Korea, all men between 18 and 28 are required to enlist in the military and serve at least 21 months.
While Jin has managed to delay his service for a while now, it seems like he hasn't been able to get a permanent exemption.
Whether the entire group will take a break while Jin serves out his time remains to be seen!
