True Blood Star Joins The Cast Of 'Riverdale' And Her Role Is Really Cool
The cast list of Riverdale season two is already pretty lit, but after speculation about Lucy Hale joining on for season 2 came to surface, we've become even more invested in the casting.
Now, a True Blood star has been confirmed to join the show!!
Meet Brit Morgan. Brit played Debbie Pelt in the very successful vampire series, and now Deadline has confirmed her new role.
The actress will play Penny Peabody, also known as the "Snake Charmer." Say what now?
Penny is a "wily backroom attorney that the Southside Serpents keep on retainer in case of run-ins with the law."
So, she's a lawyer but for the ~bad guys~.
Apparently, Penny prefers that her clients repay her in favours, not money, so that spins a helluva big web in itself doesn't it??
In season 2, Jughead will seek her out to help him with his father FP Jones being in trouble still with Jason Blossom's murder case.
LITERALLY, cannot wait.
