Oh, and she's one seriously talented actress! With roles in a wide variety of films from Savages to The Age Of Adaline, Blake has proved her acting chops time and time again.
Her latest endeavour will take her already impressive resume into a whole new genre, however, as she stars in the dark thriller All I See Is You.
Blake stars as Gina, a woman who was left blind following a childhood accident that also killed her parents. The film follows Lively's character as she navigates a world in which she can see for the first time, and her relationship with her husband James (Australia's own Jason Clarke) as these events unfold.
The trailer would have you believe this is an uplifting film about a woman regaining her sight, as her doting husband stands by her side... at first. However, as it goes on, the trailer would suggest with it's flashing imagery and spine tingling music that something sinister begins to occur in the couple's home as Gina becomes less reliant on her husband.
Writer and director Marc Forster (World War Z, Monster's Ball) told Hello Giggles:"When I make a film, my visuals are always guided by the motivation of both the character and the story. In this case, I wanted to find a way to tell a story without the limitations of traditional narrative devices, where I could literally embody a painter and create innovative and fluid visuals."
Seems like things are set to get very weird in Blake's darkest film to date. We can't wait to check it out, the film opens nationwide on October 27th.
