At only 17, she’s basically won over the music industry (and the world!) with her innovative music.
But surprisingly, Billie doesn’t know who Hilary Duff is.
During a recent interview, the host gave Billie a few presents that were massive moments of pop culture. For example, he gave her a mini yellow submarine with little replicas of The Beatles and Billie was stoked.
Then he gave her a Lizzie McGuire sleeping bag (which he called a Hilary Duff sleeping bag) and Billie was a tad confused.
“Who is Hilary Duff is the real question,” she said.

While we were shook that Billie didn’t know our childhood hero Hils, it’s actually not surprising if you consider Billie’s age and the fact that she didn’t really watch TV when she was a kid.
“I didn’t have cable growing up so I didn’t really watch TV shows on a channel,” she told Capital FM.
“I had DVDs of things, and I just rewatched them. So I never saw SpongeBob the show. I didn’t know it was a show; I thought it was only a movie.”
We reckon that Billie needs to get a little Metamorphosis into her life to fully appreciate Hils.
