So it comes as no surprise that when the "Formation" singer turned 36, she damn well wanted the most extravagant cake available.
The singer opted for a super trendy geode cake ('cos we all know how she feels about diamonds!) from Cake Life Bake Shop in Philly that cost at least $3,500, a source told Page Six.
The bakery's geode cakes “start at $3,500 and go up in price depending on detail, complexity, and size,” they said.
“Obviously we were looking at [inspiration] and things like that, but making the cake is a two-day process,” co-owner of Cake Life Bake Shop, Lily Fischer, told the publication.
The bakers paid homage to the legendary singer by topping the cake with a halo just like Bey wore to The Grammys this year during her performance of "Love Drought" and "Sandcastles", just after she announced that she was pregnant with her twin bbs.
Only the best for the queen!
