But Queen Bey herself has given us a dose of reality when she appeared on the cover of Vogue's September issue.
Sporting minimal make-up and without her usual killer sequin costumes, Beyonce said she wanted people to see she was comfortable in her own skin after giving birth to her twins, Rumi and Sir.
"I think it’s important for women and men to see and appreciate the beauty in their natural bodies. That’s why I stripped away the wigs and hair extensions and used little makeup for this shoot,” she said.
Yas Bey!
But it was Beyonce's real-talk about her FUPA that really gave us life.
“Whenever I’m ready to get a six-pack, I will go into beast zone and work my ass off until I have it. But right now, my little FUPA and I feel like we are meant to be," Bey said.
In case you're not familiar with the term, it stands for fat upper p**sy area.
Yep, just when we thought we couldn't love her more, Beyonce goes and says something like that.
People were quick to praise Beyonce for being so candid about her body (and getting the term FUPA into Vogue!) because it proves that even someone as awesome as Queen Bey has her own flaws.
"I look at the woman I was in my 20s and I see a young lady growing into confidence but intent on pleasing everyone around her. I now feel so much more beautiful, so much sexier, so much more interesting," she said.
