Making reference to their cult ‘Orgasm’ blush, the new mascara from Nars is cleverly called ‘Climax’. While it’s not the first mascara to be given a #NSFW moniker (Too Face Better Than Sex has been topping best-seller lists for years) it is, in my humble opinion, the best mascara to launch in 2018.
In the weeks leading up to the launch, Nars teased the naughty-looking, S&M-esque red tube on Instagram until the buzz in the beauty world reached fever pitch.
The mascara urgers the wearer to “never fake it” which is great because who has time to apply false lashes every morning?
Nars’ hydrating budge-proof formula is creamy yet it still manages to coat each lash evenly thanks to it’s ‘ribbed’ bristle brush. What I really love? This mascara doesn’t flake off leaving unsightly speckles like it’s other volumizing counterparts. Despite the intense full-bodied look – it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing any mascara at all.
At $35 a pop, it’s well worth the investment and has received an insane amount of rave reviews since it dropped at Mecca.
