No longer saved for 80’s costume parties, metallic and shimmery eyeshadows are making a serious comeback.
The trend has also taken off amongst some of our favourite celebrities who have been seen wearing glittery and metallic eye makeup on the red carpet including Zoe Kravitz, Margot Robbie, Emma Stone and Scarlett Johansson.
Even Mandy Moore had a subtle pink shimmery shadow on her lids for her wedding day.
Traditionally, when you mention ‘metallic’ or ‘sparkly’ eyeshadows you think of silver and gold but with all the amazing new makeup brands out there, there is a slew of new colours and shades from browns and rich reds to rose golds and bright blues.
