After a very short sneak peek last week, fans of Kylie Cosmetics now have a proper reveal of the entire product spread to start planning their looks with. Over the weekend, the Jenner sisters long-awaited makeup collaboration has been shared on the official Kylie Cosmetics Instagram, along with a short video promoting the collection.
The collection includes a couple of products that we haven’t seen from Kylie Cosmetics before, including a shimmery golden eye gloss. This was apparently a special request from Kendall. Makes sense given how popular the glossy eye look is on has been for a while now—both on the runway and you know, on plain ol’ Instagram.
The other new products to the Kylie Cosmetics range are three cream face colour sticks: made to work as contour, bronzer, blush and lighter. They’re called “Runway,” “Act Natural,” and “Spotlight,” and are made to give the sculpted, supermodel look Kendall is known for. “These three shades are Kendall’s perfect signature shades,” Kylie explained in her Stories. The brand has also confirmed that a more extensive shade range of these cream sticks is on the way. The final new product is a blotting powder, which is said to have a creamy texture that seamlessly blends into the skin to tone down any unwanted shine.
It wouldn’t be a Kylie Cosmetics makeup collection without a few lip products, and the Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics collection has a careful edit of ’em. There’s the Lip Blush, a lightweight liquid formula, that comes with a matching liner called “Sister Sister,” and a new High Gloss lip gloss with a sheer rosy tint for every day.
While we’re very into the eye gloss and can imagine trying out those cream sticks for some tonal, colour-ordinated eye and cheek looks, traditional powder eyeshadow die-hards have a wealth of colours to play with in the new eyeshadow palette in the collection.
While the palette does have the predicted ’90s browns, taupes and neutrals, there’s also a few unexpected brights in there too. The names are, of course, odes to the sister’s relationship: “Runs In The Family” is a bright yellow, “Thicker Than Water” is the orange we saw on Kylie in their sneak peek, and “Name A More Iconic Duo” is the grape purple.
The Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics collection launches on June 26 on kyliecosmetics.com, and a portion of sales going towards “defending the rights and voices of Black trans people in honor of Pride Month.”
