One thing we definitely don’t want on our face is ANY form of insect. Like, at all.

So when one girl ordered Kylie Jenner’s new, ~special~ “Birthday” makeup kit, instead of opening it up to a glorious array of shades, she got live ants.

*Vomits*

.

In a post on Reddit, Em Venditte described that she emailed customer service, but didn’t hear back from them.

“I’ve reached out three times to Kylie Cosmetics with this issue. I received this package on August 21st and noticed a bunch of ants inside and outside the package with weird food particles inside. I emailed them with the videos that same day and they claimed (on August 22nd) they would send a new package between 7-10 days it has now been 20 days since I received any sort of response from the company. I have received nothing and reached out again through email and did not get any response. My third time reaching out is now through social media trying to get the attention of the company and share my story with reluctant customers,” she wrote, adding, “Astonished by their awful customer service.”

.

She even uploaded some videos, which she posted on her Instagram page, that show the sparkly pink package covered in tons of tiny ants, and you can see the “weird food particles” that she described.

Of course, posting the video on Reddit worked and she ended up getting the attention of the company. Kylie Cosmetics sent an email to Em in which you can see below.

“Thank you so so so much for everyone’s support, advice, and sharing. I truly hope I never see this happen to anyone again.” The email reads, “Your video was brought to my attention by our team and I wanted to reach out to you personally to apologise for the experience you had with our team and for any issues regarding your order.”

They also promised to resend Em’s “Birthday Velvets”, as well as “a gift as an apology from the Kylie Cosmetics team!”
