Rihanna’s mission to provide more range for women of colour in the beauty industry has made her a glowing success and fans are absolutely LIVING for her makeup line, so much so that it has cast a huge shadow on competitors.
Especially Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian‘s lines, Kylie Cosmetics and KKW Beauty, which were dominating the makeup industry.
But Rihanna’s entrance into the world has shaken things up.
Even women who have albinism are praising the brand for providing a light foundation tone that doesn’t make them yellow, expressing their thanks to RiRi on social media.
Now, Forbes is reporting that Rihanna is set to outperform Kylie’s beauty empire and KKW by the end of 2018.
It’s a HUGE deal because Kylie’s company was just making headlines for being so record-breaking.
In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Kylie explained how the company has made $420 million since its release in 2015. The company will be worth ONE BILLION dollars by Kylie’s 25th birthday. To make that much money in that short a time is groundbreaking.
To put that into more perspective, it took makeup brand Bobbi Brown 25 years to reach one billion, and Lancôme only reached that huge number in 2015 after 80 years.
SO, if Rihanna is set to overtake Kylie within just a year, she is setting all new records.
