With the current global pandemic still raging on and the largest civil rights movement in history occurring right in the middle of it, you’d be forgiven for a pretty lax approach to your appearance right now.

If you’re anything like us, you’re probably switching between not thinking about your hair at all and itching to make a drastic change. Not a week goes by without asking the group chat if you should just, “cut everything off” or transform from brunette to blonde. As it turns out, Dua Lipa is feeling the same.

In an Instagram post earlier this week, Lipa shared a throwback picture of a very tan and very brunette version of herself. She captioned the post with a question for her fans, “should I bring her back?” It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen this version of our fav nostalgia-pop queen and tbh, it’s been hard to miss her.

Lipa has been spending the last few months inspiring pretty much everyone to get out their bleach kits and try ’90s chunky highlights. After that stint, she experimented with peachy orange and strawberry red shades. As much her fans enjoyed The Looks, it seems like they were ready to embrace O.G. brunette Dua, because not days later, she was back.

Lipa showed off her newly brunette hair in an Instagram post captioned, “Back by popular demand.” Lipa wore the new rich shade tucked behind her ears and showed off the midlength cut in an Instagram story. Paired with a pair of low-slung pleated trousers and a white ruched top, it’s a sleeker vibe that’s definitely inspiring us to consider throwing in a hair mask and putting on a “real” outfit. …But only maybe.
