Right now, the beauty industry is finally waking up and realising that it’s not just white women who buy foundation.
Brands are becoming more inclusive with their foundation ranges, and if you don’t have 40+ shades to choose from, you’ll come under fire.
Now, ColourPop Cosmetics have come out with a whole new range of foundations that have 42 inclusive shades. And get this, they’re $12 each!
Only a year ago fans went HAM for the brand as they created their No Filter Concealer, which had 30 shades and were only $6 each.
KILLING IT.
ColourPop co-founder and president Laura Nelson sat down with Popsugar, and revealed that the project has been a long time coming.
“We’ve worked on these formulas for over a year, continuing to shift the paradigm on what luxury looks like by offering value and product that is unrivaled. Foundation was one of the most highly requested products from our customers, so it was vital we get this launch right and offer an expansive range of 42 shades,” she said. “As our customer base is world wide, an extremely diverse shade range was one of our top priorities.”
Twitter is naturally super stoked about the news.
