Benefit Cosmetics are about to get dragged for their new foundations

Nobody is learning.

There is a major problem in many cosmetic companies these days, and it’s only just starting to be recognised.

Thanks to Rihanna, with her extensive range of foundation shades that offers women of every colour makeup… people are starting to call out other brands that don’t offer dark skinned foundations.

Or if they do, they aren’t done right.

Recently, makeup lines such as Tarte cosmetics and all the Kardashian brands are being called out for this, which would make you think that other brands would work on a solution instead of following these mistakes. But, they aren’t. And it’s incredibly disappointing.

The newest brand to create a new line of foundation’s with a limited colour range, is Benefit.

Makeup Instagram page @trendmood1 uploaded a sneak peek shot of the brands new line, and as expected, people aren’t impressed with the 12 shades.

“I don’t think benefit can get any more disappointing from their controversial advertisements to now the severe lack of foundation shades. Step it up, benefit, we know you got the $$,” one user wrote.

“Benefit you need to seriously start listening to the demands of ur customers, no one asked for this non-inclusive foundation, why dont you guys work on ur shade ranges for your other products bc there’s literally no excuse for this anymore- you guys don’t even have a liquid concealer or a decent eyeshadow range like come on now,” said another.

“Does it come in shades for black people?”

“Only 12 shades? Really…..”

Yikes…
