TBH, we think Aubri Ibrag has one of those heavenly faces that could pull of any crazy beauty trend.
But it seems not all of Aubri’s fans are happy with the influencer and model experimenting with her look.
In this week’s episode of the Beauty Boss podcast, the 19-year-old opened up about some of the backlash she’s received online.
“When I cut my bangs, some people were like ‘you shouldn’t have done this,” she told hosts Alanah and Jacqui.
“That really irritated me, because I felt like that was one of the first times people actually did criticize what I was doing with my own hair.”
Inspired by iconic rockstar and Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, the model recently cut a wispy front fringe into her raven locks.
While many of Aubri’s followers stanned her new look, not all of the feedback was positive.
“They felt like they were entitled, like they have a say on what I do with my hair,” she recounted.
However, the Melbournite reveals she doesn’t let the negativity get to her — rather, it just motivates her to embrace her individuality.
“It just made me want to do it more,” she revealed.
“That’s when I really own it because I feel like you shouldn’t really be affected by what other people say.”
In the candid interview, Aubri also dishes on why she thrives on a morning routine, her essentials for glowing skin and how experimenting with her look boosts her mood.
