And as the release date gets closer and closer, more deets keep on leaking and we're so here for it!
Breathe Heavy reports that Tay has recruited Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff, Ryan Adams and Dashboard Confessional lead singer Chris Carrabba.
Now, this should come as no surprise as Tay has worked with Antonoff on 1989 tracks "Out Of The Woods", "I Wish You Would" and "You Are In Love".
The latter was actually inspired by Antanoff's bae and Taylor's bestie, Lena Dunham.
Meanwhile, does Ryan Adams sound familiar?
He's the dude that made an entire cover album of songs from Tay's 1989 and frankly, they were LIT!
So it only makes sense that Tay would wanna work with the man for real.
Also, Taylor has been a ~major~ Dashboard Confessional fan for aaaaaaages.
She even invited the frontman to sing at her friend's surprise birthday party in 2015.
And as for when, a Tay Tay insider recently informed Us Weekly that we can expect to have the album in our hot little hands by the end of the year.
“Taylor’s been quietly recording new music for a couple of months,” says the source.
“She’s aiming to release an album this fall.”
FYI 'fall' begins in the US on 22 September and ends on 21 December.
Get excited, Swiftys!
