The show has teased introducing Sabrina Spellman, aka Sabrina The Teenage Witch, so it hasn't seemed all that far-fetched, especially since there is something quite mystic about the town anyway.
The cast of the show sat down with the L.A. Times, while at Comic Con over the weekend, and although they didn't let up on many spoilers, they discussed the zombie thing.
“That’s not happening!” Camila Mendes yelled, when asked about the zombies.
Although co-star Casey Cott is all about it. "There is a very mythical element to our show that supernaturalism is possible - I think it is possible. But right now it's fun to have this triller aspect."
“I think when it goes there, it doesn’t really come back," said Cole Sprouse. "I think it will break the world a little bit.
"We have to ask ourselves, and the creative staff has to ask themselves if they ever do choose to include a supernatural element, how do they do it without destroying the universe that has already been built?”
He also asked the fans to not "bully" creators into writing the things into the show, rather than just trusting the show's vision. “The key to continuing to make an interesting kind of narrative for season 2 is to stick to your guns.”
The best part of the interview is when Cole relayed a fan encounter, where somebody yelled out to him, "JUGHEAD!" proceeding to tell him how lucky he is to be able to kiss "BETH".
LOL.
Can we take a moment to appreciate Cole trying to be subtle by reminding the world just how lucky he is to make out with Lili/Betty... just like they did at Comic Con...
