Since the beginning of her career, Tay has always followed the same formula of releasing a new banger-filled album every two years.
Us Swifty’s became accustomed to this system and our squad mamma hasn’t deviated from it, even when she made the move from curly haired, cowboy boots wearing country singer to pop kween… until now, that is, and the wait is freaking killing us!
But guess what? The wait may soon be over!
A Tay Tay insider has informed Us Weekly that our girl is gearing up for her big return.
“Taylor’s been quietly recording new music for a couple of months,” says the source.
“She’s aiming to release an album this fall.”
FYI 'fall' begins in the US on 22 September and ends on 21 December.
And if you look at Tay's album release history, she always drops an album during fall. So this totally makes sense!
Over the past few months, T-Swizzle has been laying ~extremely~ low.
She has barely been spotted out in public and according to the source, she's also meticulously picked low-key recording studios to create the album.
“She hasn’t been in any of the bigger studios in Nashville, New York, L.A. or London,” they added.
The source went on to confirm that the album will be poppy AF!
“She’s continuing down the pop route because 1989 was a huge success and fans really gravitated toward that album.”
“She knows there’s a demand for a new album and has really started focusing on making that happen for fans. She’s just excited to get back out there," the source added.
And as for the content, we're hoping Tay is gonna catch us up on everything we've missed like what really went down with Calvin (oh, and Tom), the Kimye dramz and of course her poor mother's illness.
She may have been dragged through the mud over the last year but that's the thing about hitting rock bottom.
The only way is up, and we just know she's gonna come back with a BANG!
